During the summer this year starting in July, we were all greeters for Lawn Chair church outdoors!
Greeting Arriving Guests and Congregants
As an important part of our church fellowship, morning greeters welcomed everyone who came out to join in the Sunday morning service and ensured that we all had a friendly face to meet us when we arrived. Guests and newcomers to Mercy were especially welcomed and directed to the seating area, coffee and snack tables, nursery if needed, and introduced to the general
schedule of the worship service.
Greeters arrived approximately 30 minutes before the service began and took their place(s) at
the entrance doors, where they remained until approximately 10 minutes after the service
began so that latecomers were not forgotten. With enough volunteers, greeters only needed
to host about once a month.
